Founded in NYC in 2024, Adella is a natural hair care brand built on the belief that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Each formula is crafted with clean, nutrient-rich ingredients and free from harsh sulfates, silicones, and mineral oils. Our products are designed to cleanse, nourish, and restore balance, creating the ideal foundation for long-term growth and strength. Adella was born in the salon, tested and refined on real clients, and proven to deliver luxury scalp care that works in everyday routines.

That's why every Adella formula is crafted with clean, restorative ingredients like fenugreek to strengthen and revive, aloe vera juice to hydrate and soothe, apple cider vinegar to rebalance, and bentonite clay to gently detoxify. Free from harsh sulfates, silicones, parabens, and mineral oils, our products are designed to restore balance, repair the scalp, and create the ideal foundation for healthy, lasting growth.

Adella was founded by licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, Kerrisha. The name honors her mother’s middle name — a tribute to the woman whose influence shaped both her life and her vision for the brand. With family origins in Trinidad, her story is grounded in heritage, care, and the values passed down through generations.


Hair was not always a world she fully understood. Growing up, her mother had straighter, more Indian-textured hair, while hers was curly — two completely different experiences under one roof. They shared one thing in common: both struggled with persistent dry scalp. As a child, she didn’t have the knowledge or tools to manage her own hair or scalp, and products that truly addressed the root of the issue were hard to find.


Determined to change that, she attended hair school and graduated in 2015. Years later, after returning to the salon post-COVID, she noticed an alarming trend — many clients were struggling with the same dryness, flaking, and irritation she and her mother had faced. These scalp issues often led to breakage, shedding, and slowed growth, reinforcing her belief that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp.


She began experimenting in the salon, blending clean, nutrient-rich ingredients into custom treatments to restore balance and encourage growth. The visible results for both herself and her clients proved she had created something special. What started as targeted salon remedies evolved into Adella’s full product line — a luxury scalp care collection designed to deliver professional-level results at home.
