Founded in NYC in 2024, Adella is a natural hair care brand built on the belief that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Each formula is crafted with clean, nutrient-rich ingredients and free from harsh sulfates, silicones, and mineral oils. Our products are designed to cleanse, nourish, and restore balance, creating the ideal foundation for long-term growth and strength. Adella was born in the salon, tested and refined on real clients, and proven to deliver luxury scalp care that works in everyday routines.

That's why every Adella formula is crafted with clean, restorative ingredients like fenugreek to strengthen and revive, aloe vera juice to hydrate and soothe, apple cider vinegar to rebalance, and bentonite clay to gently detoxify. Free from harsh sulfates, silicones, parabens, and mineral oils, our products are designed to restore balance, repair the scalp, and create the ideal foundation for healthy, lasting growth.

Adella was founded by licensed cosmetologist and salon owner Kerrisha. The name honors her mother’s middle name, a tribute to the woman whose influence shaped both her life and her vision for the brand. With family origins in Trinidad, her story is rooted in heritage, care, and the values passed down through generations.


Hair was not always a world she fully understood. Growing up, her mother had straighter, more Indian textured hair, while hers was curly, creating two very different hair experiences under one roof. What they shared was a common struggle with persistent dry scalp. As a child, she lacked the knowledge and tools to properly care for her own hair and scalp, and products that addressed the true root of the problem were difficult to find.


Driven to change that, she attended hair school and graduated in 2015. Years later, after returning to the salon post COVID, she began noticing a concerning pattern. Many clients were dealing with the same dryness, flaking, and irritation she and her mother had experienced. These scalp concerns often led to breakage, shedding, and slowed growth, reinforcing her belief that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp.


She started experimenting in the salon, blending clean, nutrient rich ingredients into custom treatments designed to restore balance and support growth. The visible results on herself and her clients confirmed she was onto something meaningful. What began as targeted salon solutions grew into Adella’s full product line, a luxury scalp care collection created to deliver professional level results at home.
